I was reminded of this flick after watching one of Dennis Yu's other (and superior) films The Imp. I actually saw it half a year ago, but forgot to mention it here. To be honest, I had almost forgotten about this movie altogether and I'm sure that says something about it's quality. The Beasts, aka Flesh and Bloody Terror (jeez), is another retelling of the fairly lame Last House on the Left story. Happy youngsters head out in the wilderness, gets raped by a bunch of "disco boys"/HK hillbillies, pissed off dad shows up for revenge. Not terrible or anything, but not deserving all its hype either. Kent Cheng plays a baldy among the disco boys and never gets to go to Holland. Poor Kent Cheng :(
