I think I grabbed a copy of this because of the title alone. You can't honestly expect me to not check out a film called Corpse Mania? That title is fucking amazing. I knew nothing about the film and expected it to be some sort of black magic feature considering all the maggots on the cover. To my surprise, it turned out to be a slow, but well-paced, crime mystery. A necrophiliac is on the loose, killing and raping hookers (in that order). The stern inspector Zhang is put on the case and must catch the culprit, before the whorehouse looses all its valuable assets. Actually not bad at all. I wish all crime-procedurals ended like this one!
