Road Games (1981) - Richard Franklin

Road Games is a rather odd film really, seeing as it plays out as a perfect blend of Rear Window and Duel. James Stewart, as wheelchair-bound peeping tom, is replaced by Stacy Keach, as truckdriver, peeping at the passengers of various cars around him. The sleep-deprived Keach (and his pet dingo) has to haul a bunch of meat across the country, and is happy to pick up some company in the form of a hitching Jamie Lee Curtis. Of course, there's also a killer on the prowl along the same stretch of road, in addition to a whole bunch of other weirdos. Enjoyable and light hearted with nice dynamics between Keach and Curtis (also far superior to Duel).
